SENIOR FINANCE SPECIALIST

We are looking to recruit an action-oriented, priority setting, problem solver with a university degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent and at least 3 years year of relevant work experience in Finance, preferably within SCE/BPO environment. We are looking for experience in using Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel), financial systems and controls as well as proficiency in English. Other assets would be practical knowledge of SAP, and the ability to speak south-east European languages, French or Arabic.

promote ownership of controls by working closely with all business functions in order to ensure that SOX 404 implementation becomes an integral key part of the business as well as financial reporting processes
manage SOX requirements for Egypt as directed by PMI to ensure its full and timely implementation. This involves internal technical advisory, training, reporting, quality assurance, requirements definition as well as progress monitoring in coordination with local management, PMI Corporate Audit and PricewaterhouseCoopers
as part of the Risks Assessment process, strive to increase governance and continuously look for opportunities to enhance business processes by identifying redundant controls and manage their elimination
as Fiscal Compliance Program coordinator, manage, develop and implement the FCP program for the affiliate to ensure full compliance with PMI Principals and Practices requirements. Annually perform one independent quality assurance review of FCP procedures to ensure proper and ongoing compliance and timely remediation of non-compliant incident
establish and deliver training programs to ensure that the local affiliate Philip Morris Misr understand, implement and comply with the requirements of both SOX and FCP
